Clean a Messy House Checklist [Ultimate Checklist]

Spring is here and it is time to refresh your home! As the winter leaves us, new flowers bloom, the days are longer and the outside environment is crisp and beautiful. It is the season for home detoxing and sometimes we just don’t know where in the world to start. It helps to have a guideline or a “how to clean a messy house checklist” to organize our home’s clutter in thought then bring that clean, decluttered home you envision to life.

Clean A Messy House Checklist

Start at the beginning

Where is the beginning? We can start with one of two areas of the house and consider it to be the beginning and those two areas are your bedroom, where you start your day, or the entryway, where guests begin their visit of your home.

Starting from your bedroom, you can then move to the bathroom and continue to clean the rooms in the process of which you start your day.

If you decide to start from the entryway, imagine yourself as a guest and clean accordingly to how you would entertain them. The private areas like your room and master bathroom will be some of the last to tidy up.
